FIRE EXTINGUISHER, Pyrene, Portable—For extinguishing fires in the vicinity of electric wires, motors, dynamos, etc. This is the only safe type of fire extinguisher for “electrical” fires. The liquid is a non-conductor of electricity and can be used without danger of shock to the operator; it will not injure the equipment, is highly volatile, and blankets the fire, shutting out the air and smothering the flame. It is also suitable for fires of oil, paint, varnish, solvents, cleaning solutions, and other inflammable materials.
The extinguisher is operated like a double acting pump, and delivers a continuous stream of liquid regardless of the position in which it is held. It will not freeze even at 50 degrees below zero Fahrenheit, needs no attention except after use, and is endorsed by The Underwriters’ Laboratories. Brass finish, complete with wall bracket.
Fire Extinguisher Recharge—For refilling Fire Extinguisher No. 28760. To recharge remove the plug in the top of the extinguisher and pour in a charge of the liquid.
