HOW TO EXTRACT GOLD FROM ELECTRONIC SCRAP (CPU)                                

The gold extraction from CPU is melting gold in CPU solution form. It’s very- easy and efficient. We can use the process to apply in gold attraction from metal.

In this gold extraction case, the writer use Zinc powder 20 grams or 4 times of quantity of gold. And hope to have gold 5 grams. The first time, we use Zinc powder 10 grams. The second time, we use Zinc powder 10 grams, Potassium Hydroxide 110 grams Per a liter of water. The first silt, we use Potassium Hydroxide 80 grams. The second silt, we use Potassium Hydroxide 30 grams.

Fill potassium hydroxide 80 grams in gold water.

Gold extraction in this process, gold uses to make AR need more purity 75% because if less than 75% purity, the precipitation of sodium sulfite is not incomplete. Gold is gone and water is not pure. AR is increasing the percentage of gold or made of pure gold > 99%

How to observe gold melt; look at dregs ? If it is brown or coffee color shown as gold dust. Add the acid, leave it about 10-15 minutes. Look at their air bubbles reaction. If gold remain, there will be air bubbles. But if it is grey dregs, it will be Zinc powder. It is not gold. Go to the next step.

One of technique for higher gold percentage is the cleanness. The vessel must be glass. Water must be distilled water. Gold will be higher than 99%.
