David Michaud (Founder) – Since 1993, when he obtained his Mining Engineering Degree from Queen’s University, David has acquired experience in operating roles including many years’ experience in post-commissioning operations troubleshooting. Mineral Processing and Metallurgy have become a core strength and passion for Mr. Michaud.
Mr. Michaud is a registered member in good standing of the Association of Society of Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration Inc. (SME Member ID is 4207213RM) and is, therefore, a QP “Qualified Person” for USA based 43-101 purposes.
As a Mineral Processing Engineer, a/k/a Metallurgist, Michaud identifies and corrects inefficiencies in mineral processing plants through IN-FIELD TROUBLESHOOTING of concentrators (grinding, froth flotation, leaching or others) and processing facilities/plants worldwide.
Michaud Organizes, Develops, Executes, and Manages Metallurgical Test Programs using on the latest technologies and best people in the mineral processing industry.
“Over the course of my 20-year mineral processing career, I have had the opportunity to participate in numerous mining and metallurgical operations. This Metallurgy background gives me the ability to apply real-world experience and a lessons-learned perspective to problems. I know that the quickest and most effective way to improve operations is to be immersed in those operations. I am fluent in English, Spanish, and French, allowing me to personally talk with front-line operators and workers to gain insights into potential bottlenecks in grinding/flotation.”
With a history of implementing better operational practices and executing on recommendations where other plant metallurgists have failed. 911Metallurgy Corp. offers clients expert assessments, execution, and significant results.
911Metallurgy Corp`services are particularly valuable to:
★ Banks, investment firms, and potential partners and acquirers requiring due diligence prior to investing
★ Board members, executives, and managers looking for potential improvements or “repairs” within their operations
★ Exploration and mining companies needing metallurgical testing program development and management
★ Mining Companies requiring temporary or transitional management/operation of concentrators
★ Mining or Exploration Companies executing early stage metallurgical (geometallurgy) testing programs
