The Knudsen Bowl Concentrator we have for sale is great for the recovery and concentration of gold.
Applications for the Knudsen Bowl:
■ Recovery of Gold from Alluvial or hard rock deposits
■ Upgrading and recovery of gold from concentrates from other gravity separation stages such as jigs, spirals, sluices and cone concentrators
■ Used for exploration and evaluation of gold deposits
■ Other mineral applications include tin, tungsten and scheelite
Exploration
The use of the Knudsen Bowl centrifugal gold concentrator simplifies small exploration plants. A plant only requires screening and a Knudsen Bowl for gold recovery.
Concentration
Knudsen Bowls can be used in parallel to suit the feed tonnage. To maximise recovery, units can also be used in series with tailings from the first unit fed to a second unit.
Features of the Knudsen Bowl:
■ Batch operation with simple cleaning to remove concentrate
■ Relatively low rotational speed to minimise maintenance requirements
■ No added water for bed dilation
■ Simple construction
■ Low capital cost
■ Compact and lightweight
■ Bowl geometry designed for maximum gold retention
■ CE compliant
Knudsen Bowl centrifugal gold concentrator Capacity:
- Maximum capacity is 3-4TPH on screened material at a pulp density of 30% solids.
NOTE: Unit capacity is dependent on application. Feed rate to the unit may have to be lowered as the quantity of heavy minerals in the feed increases.
Ideal Knudsen Bowl Feed Size:
- Nominal feed size is -4mm.
NOTE: This feed size may be increased to 6-8mm maximum size depending on the shape of the particles.
The Knudsen is a concentrating bowl ideally suited to scavenge fine gold from shaking table such as the Gemini table tails
